Perhaps you'll get even more through an auction at the Allschwil meeting. Smile

There's no obligation to purchase for those whose names are on the pre-order poll list. It's possible that some folks will change their mind, giving others on a waiting list a second chance.

BTW, Hans, can we please get an update?

Dave

EDIT: Besides, Matthias, you could use a list of potential buyers for when your module goes on sale: http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-543...l#pid57491, but I think the price is too high. Smile

RE: PRE-ORDER POLL: FRAM71B... ALL GONE!
no worries. you probably have to live in Cologne to fully understand the allusion i was trying to make: i am getting so many inquiries about pricing and delivery plans of FRAM71B, that it is time to go with a good old german Karneval tradition and toss some sweets among the masses!
Spoiler Alert

Hmmm. So this could mean:

1. The availability date will be announced at HHC 2016
2. FRAM71B will be made available to coincide with HHC 2016
3. Bob, who will be giving a FRAM71 presentation, may have one to show off

I heard of someone showing one off at the Allschwil meeting in 2014, so maybe the availability date will be closer to the 2016 Allschwil meeting and FRAM71's 2nd anniversary, which is around 10/29.

I expressed interest in the original thread but have been away for the last 18 months. I hope this counts for something. ;-)

RE: FRAM71B... OPEN FOR ORDERS
Received and installed my FRAM71B-1024 successfully. Great device. Sincere thanks to all that participated in its development and creation. I am waiting now on the port module Nate Martin designed to allow use of the SYSRAM feature. Thanks for the link to the Shapeways part on page 21 of the fine FRAM71B manual.

RE: FRAM71B... OPEN FOR ORDERS
Nate has designed other parts, too. Most of them are available here: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/hpparts. Included are FRAM71/B bezels from Hans' model in a multitude of colors and materials. Other parts can be found in Nate's own shop, "wants_beer". Smile

RE: FRAM71B... OPEN FOR ORDERS
Hello Hans,
I have received my FRAM71B-1024 (s/n:1128F-3CA841) today.
Did a basic configuration and the module is working nicely.
Now I have to find the time to try some of the advanced configuration Smile
Thank you!
Best regards,

Eagerly awaiting announcement. I'm curious how many unclaimed modules there are.

RE: FRAM71B... OPEN FOR ORDERS
only 20 were ordered and delivered (out of 30 pre-orders) by end of november. however, only two days later, most of the remaining modules were gone. orders for the last modules are now processed as they come, without further prioritizing.
interesting: many users, having pre-ordered a -512, opted for the -1024 later on.
