Is there any document to tell me what the function is and how to use it? Generally speaking, no there isn't any (clear) documentation. Many programs also have a brief text file with similar filename, but often (usually when it's most interesting sounding) there is just the program file. The good news is with a '41 program, you can examine the FOCAL and get the gist of it at least; try that with a 71 or 75 LEX file! Copy and print the file SWAP85SF at the end of the volume, it contains an annotated directory listing, typically made by Mike Markov when he was preparing most of the SWAPxx images. BACK UP YOUR MACHINE before trying any of these unknown programs, it is not uncommon to crash, if the program is using synthetics, or expecting specific input, etc. Copy and print the file SWAP85SF at the end of the volume, it contains an annotated directory listing, typically made by Mike Markov when he was preparing most of the SWAPxx images. Though for AA3, there appear to be no comments. --Bob Prosperi |
