If you multiply by beta(4,6) instead of dividing by it, the root becomes -1.63 and it is the only root. If you divide, -1.63 is NOT a root.
So I assumed you mistyped it, as I did.
Apologies if you didn't - but you have to admit that it is quite a coincidence?
