As for me, 80 g/m² is sufficient (the contents counts). But I vote also for some kind of lamination (the contents should be protected, especially when heavily used)...

Generally a good idea, I remember these foils from my school days, but I had problems to apply them without wrinkles and bubbles. 8-( Perhaps my ten thumbs and my two left hands are the reason for those troubles...)

A quick look at costs suggests about +£3 extra postage (for all destinations) for this. Just to put yet another option on the table.

I'm happy with 80gsm, but don't have a strong preference.

So, I think we're good to go. I ideally need to get this sorted during January as I will be busy in February.

We've decided on:

- 80gsm paper;
- Gloss cover lamination;
- Spiral bound;
- Monochrome;
- A5.

The final cost is £10 per piece, which includes an allowance for packing materials.

On top of that, the postage costs:
£13 - USA/Canada (airmail)
£8 - Germany/France (airmail)
£3 - UK (first class)

Finally, please add £1 for PayPal fees.

If you'd prefer to use another payment method, it may be possible, although PayPal is the most convenient for me, so that I can keep track of everything.

The final price doesn't change much for an extra copy or two, so if anyone not on the list below wants to register interest before all the payments are received, we can add you.

Invoices sent for the above.

BTW: the original document is in US letter format, so I think it will be best to make it A5 height, but a bit wider (keeping the US letter aspect ratio) to avoid distorting the document.

Done too :-)

A5 is a nice convenient size, but no problems with minor variations.

All the payments have now been received, I'm going place the order on Monday.

After some tweaking, I've managed to get the document into an A5-shaped form. A wider version of A5 would have cost more, as it it's a non-standard size.

There's a bit of extra space at the top and bottom of each page after scaling, but I think it looks ok. I have added absolute page numbers at the bottom of each page, partly to fill the space, but also because I find it annoying without them. :-)

Finally, I've put together a slightly tweaked colour cover, since the cover is the one place we can use colour. Hopefully you'll all like it.
