spice battery contacts repair (or replacement)

Hi everybody, I have recently purchased an couple of HP38E and one HP38C, and although are all in working conditions, the battery contacts were broken. Has everybody else already replaced or repaired these ? I will appreciate any suggestion ! Thx in advance for your replies. Cheers, Alberto
