I found several auctions on TAS for the ET-58 Scientific calculator kit close for TI-58/59. Th close has no card reader. Some of the specs are:

Exponents 4 digits. range is up to 9863

1000 program steps.

110 data registers.

I just ordered one. I really like building through-hole kits.

In the ad it says a calculator software simulator is available for download for the Windows operating system. Does anyone know where that's available or if the build instructions are downloadable? I saw nothing on Google.

There’s a parallel offer on a local Czech auction site:
https://aukro.cz/kalkulacka-et-58-staveb...7042642606

which refers this info page:
http://breatharian.eu/hw/et58/index_en.html

The seller probably tried to include it in the eBay ad as well but it didn’t make it through.

I haven’t bought it, my clumsy hands aren’t capable of building the thing I’m afraid, even though the seller says a 12yo kid can do it.

Though I do like kits, this thing has a horrific looking keyboard, an LCD display, and I don't see a printer interface..
The price is about what you pay for a used 58C in the auction site.
Personally, I'd rather fix up an old 58C
Still, an interesting curiosity. Hopefully, there will be upgrades.

My main use for it is to build it. After I get a kit built and debugged, I usually give it away or sell it at a loss. For me, the fun is over (but what fun it is!)

RE: New kits for TI-58 on TAS
This is a topic that interests me!
I have long been fascinated by the achievements of Miroslav and have written the French manual for the ET-57 and have been working for some time on the writing of the French manual for the ET-58 (not yet completed).
But I am totally incompetent in electronic production and my welds are real "crottes de mouches"... (fly droppings ?)
So if someone makes an ET-57 and / or an ET-58 I'm a serious customer !
