Good morning Eric...

Thank you for posting these. I am working my way through and caught the talk on the WP43 -- not that I need another calculator, but if/when another run comes available I'll probably buy one. :o

Best...

This is great to have, and it's nice to finally put faces to some of these well known & accomplished members of this community. Without seeing them, it's like forum members are all just imaginary people who live inside my computer. I put links to several of these videos on my links page.

Hello!

Thank you for creating and posting these videos! I just finished watching Jef Ongena's talk about reverse engineering and repairing an old Japanese desktop calculator. Absolutely impressive work!

I happen to have the same calculator here (although with a front label "abc 850" and a sticker on the back with the company name "Tokyo Electronic Application Laboratory Ltd.") that I bought on a flea market many years ago. It does not work and in the near future I will probably not have the time to try and fix it, but this talk gives me hope that maybe one day I will see the calculator working again!

Regards
Max
