Yes. It is also true that through matrix operations, see multiplication, one can achieve quite a bit (with multiplication you can get a sum). If one is not used to it though (me), it doesn't come to mind as a "indirect command" like "sigma array".

I'll have to open the "processing matrices!" thread (together with the "processing strings!" that still is in limbo).
