I took Pauli's function and changed the way we calculated x0 as frac(1234*seed). I got five sets of 10,000 random numbers. Four sets generated auto-correlation values below 0.03 and one set generated above 0.03. The average absolute auto-correlation is very close to that of Pauli's original PRNG algorithm. The Chi Square values between 38 and 67, which is a range that is higher that the previous test I mentioned in this thread.

Overall, Pauli's original random number is a very nice and simple algorithm for calculators.
