This is another example of the aggravating phenomenon of uppercase/lowercase command differences in CAS. Try doing your example with "makemat" (lowercase) and again with "MAKEMAT" (uppercase). It works as expected in uppercase and fails in lowercase. This is especially sad because the Toolbox Catalog in CAS echoes MAKEMAT in lowercase.
