The first repaired HP-01!

I'm wearing the first ever repaired HP-01 on my wrist, after fatal electronic failure in the past, running again on SR44 cells.

The first HP-01 I bought wasn't working, the gold one. But it's electronic components gave me the key for reading the original ROM, the second was working and gave me another key for developing the software and now both are working identically. It is a great pleasure.

I will have to write the manual now and do some long time surveillance, let's call it "watch watching", until end of this month. If all goes according to plan, I will offer the repair kit in a few weeks. The price will be cheaper than announced, but still I had real costs and I'm unsure about how many watches are waiting for a repair. They will be much less than HP-25s around.

Anyway it will be great, that anybody now can repair their HP-01.
