No :-0, no slang, no translation, it was only because of my laziness, typing many times "accumulator" in a single post was tooo much for me. I hoped it should be understandable. OTOH (on the other hand :-) mine Am Heritage Dict says: "accumulator" - chiefly Brit. an automobile storage battery, and Longman dictionary says: "accumulator" - esp. BrE, a type of battery ...
