My skillset in getting pics from my Droid into my laptop are iffy. And for reasons unknown to me, once the images are in my cheap ASUS laptop, they aren't necessarily easy to do anything with.

Hopefully, if I get that far, image uploading here will be easier than some other places I post at.

[eeek!]

I've been advised by Verizon my course of action regarding my hinky Droid is to avail myself of a new phone, they aren't inclined to do anything about the software 'upgrades' that have messed up my current phone. As for my hinky laptop, if I keep Hotmail, I suspect my importing pictures from my phone is still going to be an ordeal. If every step of the picture taking and uploading chain wasn't fraught with peril and difficulty, I'd do more of it.

I completely understand. I didn't own a camera and resorted to my phone or my GF's camera. I got tired of having to take the camera off the tripod and plug it in to download pics, so today I received from Amazon a new camera with Wi-Fi. Painless download to PC. Smile

For sharing pics and docs on the forum I use Google Drive. 15GB of free storage.

I don't know about your laptop, but I have an ASUS Zenbook Prime and am quite satisfied.

Still have my Droid Incredible but I can't take pictures with it worth a darn. I'm reluctant to change my unlimited data plan with Verizon, and I get a discount with them through where I work.

It will come with time.

Dave
