confirmed, the FRAM range 0x20000 to 0x2FFFF is not protected against bankswitching use. unfortunately, FRAM71 can't do that, so user has to be aware of that when selecting FRAM ranges for bankswitching.

can you give me the exact configuration string that you used for testing that? is it a 1BBB or a 2CDCC mainframe?
