I wonder if it would be easier, in terms of design, and less costly to use 3D printing instead ( at volume of course to offset the cost of the 3D printer(s) ). Since very high end 3D printers can get to the tens of microns level in terms of layers, the quality should be at least as good as injection molding. Plus, with a metal 3D printer, you could have your RPN calc's keys made of titanium I wonder what that would feel like
