We should clarify - pdf file (I have from 2 different sources) has 49 pages and 23.278 kB in windows explorer. Page 49 holds scan copyright of HP Museum. Last numbered page of the manual itself is page 36 (pdf page 47).
Here we talk of page 20 of the manual itself i.e. page 31 in the pdf file. I also see converting 35.17.47 to decimal degrees there.

Yes, to clarify - I have identified at least 3 different versions of the HP35 manual so far:

* Your original red-dot manual 00035-90008, no revision date but "hole" visible on the front page, and "white" (at least on your scan) leds, 39 numbered pages.
* The ones I got, also 00035-90008, also no revision date but no "hole" and "red" leds on the cover, 36 numbered pages (one was bought on the 12 october 1972 so it must be a 1972 version or earlier).
* The third (scan from e.g. HP Museum), also 00035-90008 but revision "8/73", no "hole" and "red" leds, 36 numbered pages.

       

I will try to scan mine as well for the ones interested.
