You're welcome. I know you like spigot algorithms for \(\pi\), for instance you ported my multiprecision BASIC spigot program for a SHARP pocket computer to the BBC micro, which ran flawlesly (and faster when using integer variables throughout), while I also ported it to the HP-71B, which could produce many thousands of digits (one at a time, mind you) if you had enough RAM and time.

Curiously enough, using INTEGER variables on the 71B results in a slower program than using REAL variables.

As for what Ángel might include in his forthcoming PI/E ROM, who knows ...
