Suppose you are not on the Poles and want to go to North Pole, the forward azimuth should be exactly 0 degree, and not a very tiny value ≠ 0 ; and exactly 180 degrees to go to South Pole.
Suppose now your are on North Pole on go somewhere not to the South Pole, the backward azimuth should be exactly 0 degree, and not a very tiny value ≠ 0 ; and 180 degrees when starting from South Pole. Small changes in the programs have been made in order to comply fully with the above. Regards, Gil |
