All the ARM-based machines (39g+, 39gs, 40gs plus others) are NOT compatible, only the Saturn-based models are 39G, 40G, 49G.

I am unfortunately responsible for doing the same thing you fell for, and that's repeating information from a prior post without verifying it first.

The good news is the 39G and 40G are likely the cheapest of all the machines in the older list anyhow, plus seem to be more readily available as well.

Sorry for the bad info, I should go back and edit that post to prevent more folks from following my bad advice. (Done. I've edited all my own posts, but the original post with bad data was unfortunately quoted, more than once, in replies so the misleading list still remains in posts I can't correct.)
