I think x/2y is ambiguous.
NOT ambiguous is \(\frac x{2y}\) because the full denominator, \(2y\), is clearly separated from the numerator by the division bar. This forum allows the use of mathjax. Use it to make expressions unambiguous. If you just use ASCII then use parentheses to remove any ambiguity. There are only 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. |
