Do I hear the words of a scientist or in the least of an enlightenment-aware mind?

If people modified their opinions as methodically as scientists modify their theories (using the Scientific Method), would we be happier, or would we become emotionless like the always-logical Vulcans? I have no opinion on that, since I have no data from which to formulate a hypothesis.
