41CL Serial Communication Testing

I've changed the PC and the OS (sure to have already done it before, but now not so sure )

and it works!!!

OS: XP now
serial connector still the RS232 DBA9 on the MOBO....

.....but a different PC

so I have to understand now, if the problem is due to the hardware or to the OS (SEVEN before)
