The firmware update says that connectivity kit has to be up to date in order to not have issues with firmware upgrade, but since there is no new version for Mac we can not do that.

I agree - I am seeing the same thing. My HP Connectivity Kit upgraded me to version 20211125, but keeps trying, and apparently failing, to upgrade me to version 20211126.

Any advice for us Mac users?
