I like this better than having to copy/open file explorer/paste, etc. And acting like a mounted network drive is elegant, because that's essentially what it is.

FYI, it actually very much isn't a network drive, in that it's a very old, rather simple file transfer protocol without any of the features of a file system, nor indeed even basic statefulness. Our GUIs are just really, really good at masking that. (Kinda like how Windows Explorer opens zip archives as if they were folders, even though they very much aren't.)
