A side question, I have my HP88041b battery pack, with the top lid removed, on my workbench and I charge it from time to time. The circuit board has a green LED that flashes and eventually turns stops flashing and is on 100% of the time. I assume that this means the battery is charged. I'm puzzled as to why the LED exists at all as one will only see it when replacing the battery.
