RE: Device is stuck

I overcame the many (button) steps to arrive at something, though it still costs more energy/resources cumulatively, and then there were the poor viewing angles, and now this? "Always expect unexpected". Seriously, as much as I was disappointed with the Prime's bugs often times crippling the system, I was pleasantly surprised that it's hard to lose data during those mishaps. I am not sure about the details, but it looks like Prime creates a flash image of RAM every time is gracefully shuts down, and restores it upon startup, so, in case of unexpected mishap, you lose only your last session. (This is under the assumption that you don't resort to extreme measures, such as "format disk C:" in diagnostic tool.) Hopefully you regained control over the device by now, and the data loss was minimal to none. Darius |
