Ok, but in your example, if I understood correctly, I am technically loosing 2 pages (either AB or CD) that I could be used to hold some other ROM.

I wouldn't say "lose" the pages - they are still there ;-) to be used by the HEPAX alternate configuration when they become active. And this option is valid for both the CL and non-CL systems.
