The (variable) base cannot be negative, it's to be posed >0 hence -1 is not part of the domain
e^((x+3)*ln(x^2+x-2)), for x=-1 you get e^(2*ln(-2)) where ln(-2)=ln(2)+pi*i (i is the imaginary unit)
