I just received my copy of "Calculator Navigation" by Mortimer Rogoff, 1979. I bought it used for $4 plus another $3.50 for shipping. It is kind of an odd book. The book includes the program code listings of navigation programs for the HP-67/97 and the TI SR-52 in the appendix. The book does not give any navigation formulas, but rather describes the procedure on how to use the navigation programs. The book also describes how to customize the programs for a particular boat or ship.

It looks like the TI programs in the book are the same as in the TI SR-52 Navigation Library, but the book does not include all of the programs in the Navigation Library. This makes sense, because Mortimer Rogoff is said to have contributed to some of the development of the SR-52 Navigation Library. I don't know if the HP67/97 programs in the book are the same as on the HP67/97 Nav Pac, but the acknowledgements says that Rogoff had collaborated with, and was a friend to, Kenneth Newcomer, the author of the HP Nav Pac. Newcomer was also a co-author of "The Calculator Afloat" book.
