DM42 keyboard ENTER fix

Do people think this might help with a key that doesn't reliably register?

I have a new DM42, and the shift key only works about half the time. However, the feel of the key is fine, not stiff, just doesn't reliably work.

some other keys have the same issue, but the shift key is by far the worst (and most annoying).

I've seen the note about cleaning, but assumed that shouldn't be necessary on a brand-new unit?
