New to the forum but not to the Vintage HP world + HP-01

Yesterday, on a whim, I changed batteries and with a set of fresh ones I synchronized the watch down to the second with my iPhone and 14 hrs later it's still spot on and keeping time accurately. I'll keep checking on it for the next 34 hrs and see if there's any variation.

I had to remove the watch and all the content from the leatherette case because it started braking down light-speed fast. It was sticking to my fingers and to the cardboard box. Too bad there isn't a way to stabilize the synthetic material.
