Batteries do not last as long as the product should and to not have a source for a replacement seems shortsighted. From the picture it appears the the battery is designed to be replaced at some point. (and also that there is a vendor and a part number, although not to be found on the internet)

Oh well, at least the Prime can use the readily available Samsung LiPo.
