I think one could write a program to convert an integer into BCD, which would then display the decimal value when in HEX mode. It wouldn't quite have the 64 bit range, of course - only 16 digits will fit.

One would surely want another program to convert back from BCD to binary. That would then allow one to enter a decimal number - in hex mode, then convert.
