HHC 2013 location
Message #1 Posted by David Ramsey on 10 Apr 2013, 7:07 p.m.

Has anything been decided yet? Locations were being bandied about a few months ago but I haven't seen anything since then.

I thought you knew since Reno was one of the candidate locations.

Well, now we know: Ft. Collins.

Had we done Reno I would have exhibited my entire collection of desktops. As it is, I could bring one if anyone's interested.

This site for the time being. Someone from the HHC planning committee will make an announcement here and tell us when the web site for the HHC2013 is up and running, so we can register, and get information about hotel reservation, as well as the info about location and its airport.

It's settled. We're going back to HP's facility in Fort Collins, Colorado for HHC2013 on September 21st and 22nd. The "conference hotel" will be the same as in 2009 and 2010 - the Cambria Suites, which is within walking distance of HP and the conference single-person room rate will be $72. per night. Details will follow relatively soon.

Tell your boss that if he cannot give you time off, that I will personally come to his office and tickle him until he would not breath. If that does not work, I will tell him mega-lame jokes until he sees the wisdom in giving you time off!

Capish?????

Could there ever be anything better, in any language, than:

O freddled gruntbuggly thy micturations are to me
As plured gabbleblochits on a lurgid bee.
Groop, I implore thee my foonting turlingdromes.
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurlecruncheon, see if I don’t.

:) Got it!

I just hope the dates don't coincide with the beginning of fall quarter at Cal Poly Pomona.
