Nav Pacs
Message #1 Posted by Al on 25 Mar 2013, 1:23 a.m.

During the life of the HP 48 series calculator, a number of firmware modules or Pacs were offered, they dealt with various subjects. There was one on Celestial Navigation, called the Nav Pac. Re this, a couple of questions.

1. HP no longer offers them, are there any available, if so where and or from whom.

2. What price glory?

3. Will the HP 48 series Nav Pac install and operate on the current HP 50G?

Please advise and thanks.

Al

Damir:

Thank you for the reference. I'm aware of the Sparcom program listed. What I remain curious about is the following.

What might be the differences/similarity between the old NavPac and Sparcom. Also, is the HP Nav Pac to be found these days, and if so, at what price.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks again.

Al
