Message #1 Posted by Lars Bergström on 7 Mar 2012, 6:41 p.m.

The 15C LE is now announced in sweden at a cost of 990 SEK, 145 $ / 110 €, twice the price of a 35S.

Not as expensive as feared. They're horrendous in Denmark (/almost/ double price) although I don't think the one place that sells them is official. Probably parallel imported. Or perhaps they're on their way here too. I haven't investigated.

But makes me wonder. Is it as limited as they want us to think it is? IMHO that wouldn't be fair just to make some more then original announced for special editions even if they sells like hot cakes. Would be more fair just to put them into regular production - without "limited edition" printed on it - as long as they sell enough to make a profit.

Now if only they would make the 16C too. Or even better - Why not the whole palette of 10, 11, 12, 15 and 16. Perhaps for a start in a fancy "collectors edition" box. Only thing I fear is the price ;D

Much more expensive than the HP-15C LE bought (HK$880 or US$113) in Hong Kong!
