Eric's overlays
Message #1 Posted by Han on 10 Oct 2011, 2:21 p.m.

I was wondering if it was still possible to request custom overlays of older models. I'm particularly fond of the HP48, and would like to have some nice overlays for things like JAZZ's editor, the ML debugger, etc.

If you are still considering requests, Eric, I'd like to know what the current costs would be.

Wouldn't it be better to email me directly?

Anyway, yes, I can make overlays for the 48, but I haven't had much luck in finding good material to do it with. If you don't mind cardstock, I can do it on that. Ideally I'd want something either both more durable (like adhesive vinyl stuck to cardstock) or more stuff (like Mylar), but my current cutter is not powerful enough to cut those options.

I did make some sample SurveyPro overlays for someone who requested them, but I never heard back on how well they worked long-term.

Eric
