Going to the ASEE conference this week
Message #1 Posted by Eric Rechlin on 26 June 2011, 12:38 a.m.

Hi all.

I am going to the ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education) conference in Vancouver, BC this week. It's a trade show, mostly attended by engineering professors, and HP has a booth again.

I went last year (in Louisville, KY) and worked HP's booth, talking about calculators, and I will be doing the same thing this year.

Last year I had quite a few attendees come up to me to talk about how much they loved their 15C or 41, and a few raved about their 16C as well. Of course, I had to show off the 50g and 35s. I think I'll sneak a 34S in this time. :)

Not sure if any of you will be there, but if you are, make sure to stop by and say hello. I'll be at ASEE on Monday and Tuesday, and then will have most of Wednesday and Thursday to myself to explore Vancouver on my own, before I head back on Friday.

Eric

Eric, be sure to leave your Boston Bruins shirt at home and while in Vancouver avoid talking about hockey with any Canucks fans. ;-)

Regards,

John

I'm back from Vancouver. I had several people talk about the 15C, one about the 16C, and one about the 42S. But more importantly, four talked about the 41 series and how they still had one, so I passed on the information about the 41CL to them.
