What is the trick to... Message #1 Posted by Geoff Quickfall on 22 June 2011, 2:39 a.m. opening the thinkjet 225B battery pack? I get the clips and etc but it still won't open. Not going to force it cause there must be a trick to it! Cheers, Geoff asked and answered from this search: battery opening and rebuild instructions The pack is opened, easily with heat applied to the top of the case. Just too much double sided tape in there. If i didn't break mine; you'll do fine.

Thanks DB, Applying heat in the form of a hair dryer really loosened the adhesive on the double sided tape. I understand the need to secure the batteries but industrial strength adhesive tape? Does overkill come to mind. Granted it did fullfill its purpose. Cheers, Geoff
