New HP-45 Emulator for iPad
Message #1 Posted by Namir on 27 Mar 2011, 5:47 p.m.

I just found a new HP-45 emulator for the HP-45. The emulator uses an image of the HP-45. You can run it as the legacy HP-45 or as a Super-45. The latter mode doubles your memory register, supports complex operations, supports linear regression, solves the roots of quadratic and cubic polynomials, solve a system of 2 linear equations, performs basic financial calculations, and supports some basic basic statistical distribution. The emulator also supports the timer!!!

I was happy to add this emulator to my collection of iPad calculator emulators.

I was looking at this the other day. This is like a "do everything" model sans programming.

Indeed!!!

What I like about emulators is that you can always offer an enhanced version mode that adds memory, programming steps, and functions.

I think the developer of that HP-45 emulator is Swiss.
