HP-12C ARM Repurposing Project - Status?

I have heard rumors and musing about the possibility of repurposing the HP-12C ARM calculator.
I have seen leaps and bounds with the HP20B/30B project and the wiki for it has a 12C section

But I haven't seen any updates in the last year and a half. Is anyone working on a 10C/11C/15C/16C port? I know the SDK comes with a 4 function integer calculator, but is it possible to use this calc to run the firmware of one of the other Voyager Series calculators that is not in production?
If someone is working on something to this effect I would love to help.
