HP-41C with unusual serial number ? Message #1 Posted by Marc Ferrer (France) on 20 Feb 2010, 11:48 a.m. Hello, Many years ago I got a used HP-41C (still working). Only recently, I realized that its serial number is unusual : Instead of being stamped on the appropriate area, it's printed on a silver sticker which holds the number : 47067993. Under the sticker, no other marking. I wonder if it's a refurbished machine, or maybe something more special... In advance thank you all ! Cheers, Marc

(Brazil) Hello Iqbal and Luiz, Thank you for your answers; that leads me to other questions : Is there a relationship between these non-standard serial numbers and dates ? or more likely, in the case of a repairing process, is it just a record number used at HP servicing department ?
