HP-15c/12c for google android?
Message #1 Posted by palmheads on 31 Oct 2009, 7:43 p.m.

With the various iphone emulators for the classic Voyager calcs like the 12c & 15c, does anyone know if a google android port is being done by anyone?

It could be an opportunity, as the Android Market (which is becoming huge) only has a few RPN calcs, including an excellent HP48 (Droid48) based upon the linux port x48.

With the google android touch screen, would make a perfect platform for more hp calcs like the 15c!

That sounds promising!!!

Was forced to drag out my old Palm Tungsten T3 the other day, which has Free42, Power48 & KK-12c on it.

I could not figure out where or how to download "droid48". (And I'm not exactly new to these internets toobs). Can anyone give me a direct link to a binary/package/zip??

Great to also read in this thread another version is coming soon. Hopefully in full 854x480 glory (motorola droid).

Edit: I did check the Android Market. I browsed each category ("featured", "top paid", "top free") and used the search function, but nada...

I think its actually called "Droid48".

I actually found it by just searching for "rpn" in the Android Market.
