HTML glitch in Don Jennings' "Trig questions" thread?
Message #1 Posted by Karl Schneider on 22 Nov 2008, 1:04 a.m.

All --

When I try to Respond or initiate any other action to any post in the "Trig questions" thread started by Don Jennings on 20 Nov 2008, 5:42 p.m. (serial# 143981), the appropriate dialog screen does not appear. Instead, the thread simply reloads. This happens while logged in or not, in any message display mode. "Report Post" gives this same response.

No other post or thread is so afflicted.

Does anyone else have this problem? I'm suspecting that some index is corrupted.

No problem to report. I performed a test reply successfully.

Try closing your browser and then opening it again, or otherwise cleaning up the URL. I've noticed that sometimes this forum software carries around the last message ID and it causes strange behavior.

Just a thought...

thanks, bruce

Bruce --

Thanks. Your solution didn't solve my particular issue, but I found a workaround...
