HP 48GX blue / black LCD Message #1 Posted by nacho on 4 Oct 2008, 5:46 p.m. hello! I have an HP 48GX Singapore version, made year 1994. It had a faulty key ( ENTER ) and a faulty display line. It also has a non very good Capacitor. Do you recommend me to put one with more capacity?. As I have done with many HP 48 series I disassembled it totally. I cleaned with water ( non mineral water ) all the KBD and cleaned all the LCD contacts ( zebra ones included ). Now KBD works perfect but LCD is loosing the Line... I have a non working ( bit distroyed ) hp48 black LCD, LCD is perfect. Would you recommend me to swap the displays???? thanks. nacho Edited: 6 Oct 2008, 3:02 p.m.
