I just purchased a working HP22 with the stock batteries replaced with rechagable batterys. How do I charge them? Do I pry them out each time and put them in a charger or charge them in the battery door? Thanks.

If they're Ni-Cd AAs, they are equivalent to the original HP batteries. You can go ahead and use the standard charger.
