17B won't start up
Message #1 Posted by Charles Oxford on 6 May 2008, 12:21 p.m.

I rec'd. this in yesterday's mail without out batteries. After installing batteries I got "memory reset" and then beeps and no display. I've shorted the contacts replaced the batts and nothing but beeps. Is calc toast?

Below display is printed "1989 Producers Forum" Anyone know what that is?

Calc is 1989 Singapore.

Many thanks,

Charlie in Phoenix

When I turn the 17B over it beeps. Does this indicate something's loose? I don't hear a rattle.
