HP-41 Modules/battery usage
Message #1 Posted by Kevin Kitts on 21 Mar 2008, 11:49 p.m.

Hi All, I was just curious. Will leaving 3 or 4 normal HP modules inserted in and HP-41C or 41CV drain the batteries faster with the 41 unit off? How about if the 41 is on - if there are modules inserted will the battery drain faster?

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Original HP ROMPAC's (or Memory) have very little effect on the overall current drain.

There shouldn't be any noticeable difference whether they're plugged in or not.

A new set of N series batteries should last for more than a year even with heavy use as far as no card reader is involved.

Hope this helps.

Diego.
