how to reset my hp11c
Message #1 Posted by Dirk (Japan) on 5 Feb 2008, 6:33 a.m.

Can anyone tell me how I can make the view on my hp11c "normal" again?
My son was playing with it the other day and now the cleared readout remains as follows:
0.000000 00
That's just way above my head! (This scientific calculator was given to me as a gift when I was a teenager. I just use it for simple addition/subtraction/multiplication/division.)
Thanks!

Assuming that you're used to FIX notation, press

f FIX 4

for a display of 0.0000

For a full reset:

Turn the 11c off. Press and hold ON, Press and hold -, release ON key, release - key.

The display should show "Pr Error". Press any key. Enjoy!
