ZENGRANGE -vs- CMT Eproms:Any Cross-Compatibility?
Message #1 Posted by Allen on 23 Dec 2007, 7:12 p.m.

I recently found a ZENGRANGE Voltage converter (ZVC)- a rare beast.

With the help of JFG's excellent program Emu 41 , and Christoph Klug's HP-IL/PC Interface Card, and some technical advice in his well-written articles, I have made several Custom ROM configurations including some fun 16K modules with ZENROM/EXT-IO/and the ZPR.

Here is the mystery: the ZVC I bought (center) came with 2 CMT EPROMS (right). Like the Zengrange modules (left), the CMT modules are each 16k. I have the CMT Eprom programmer, but before I spend extra time making the required programming fixture, I wanted to check with the experts. I have indeed read both the 30 pages of CMT documents, and the several hundred pages of ZENGRANGE docs, and can't find a hint. Both seem generic enough to meet the same interface specs.

Is it possible to program the CMT eproms with the ZVC and the ZENGRANGE PROGRAMMING ROM?
